Aside from both of us working yesterday, we had a scare following Josie's work day. She called at the usual quitting time around 4:45 PM, but not to tell me she was on her way home. She couldn't locate the keys to the Jeep so she had to find out where they were. After spending a half hour scouring the work area at work, looking in the car to see if they were still there, checking the trash to make sure they weren't swept up and emptying her purse, they were still missing. She called again to have me drive down to the shop with our spare key - which is only a "valet" key, and wouldn't start the car. We thought , maybe, there was a chance they fell on the floor of the car and she couldn't see them. Well, I started out to go to her shop when she called and said she found them - on the floor in the cooler. We don't know how they ended up there, but that is the happy ending to the story.
My work day was ho-hum as I greeted folks for 5 1/2 hours at the entrance to Sam's Club.
Today is the big game for Austin and his Western Michigan University football teammates against Air Force in the Idaho Potato Bowl in Boise, ID. Mark is the only member from Patty's family that will attend since it would have cost $4K for the whole family to go - Boise is not the best place to spend time sitting outside watching the game in what could be a snowstorm. Watch the game on ESPN that starts at 3:45 PM, and watch for number "23" on the WMU Broncos. Good luck to Austin and the Broncos!!
