Christmas Day

We spent a quiet and uneventful Christmas morning at home. It was nice having the day off together and sharing gifts. We had a nice, big breakfast that we can only have when off work together and enjoyed talking with Patty about their Christmas together with all the boys, which has become increasingly rare with their busy schedules.

Our afternoon and evening, including a wonderful dinner prepared by Cheryl and George, was also fun and the visit with Brian, Amy and their family was also special. Below is a shot of the group, taken by Jesse, just after having our dinner:

Now, it's back to normal while Josie and I both work today, although they will be shorter than normal days. We get to enjoy the weekend off together which promises to be a rare occasion. It will interesting to see if, and how, our schedules change following the holiday season.
