Once again I received a request to work extra hours at Sam's Club. This time, I denied the request for two reasons: it was only for 3.5 hours, and, we already planned to drive around some new home neighborhoods. I wasn't going to give up a day off together. It may have been different if Josie was working, but it looks like we will be getting very few days off together.
We drove around some neighborhoods in both Peoria and in Scottsdale all day and saw a few really nice homes. We are probably getting more serious about making a move than we have been in a long time. The idea of settling in one place for awhile has some appeal, even though we would still maintain some kind of RV lifestyle. We are sure it will work itself out.
I missed the Pinstripe Bowl yesterday where Penn State won a thriller in OT against Boston College 31-30. Patty had to text me with the results of the game which I would certainly have loved to watch. It looks like Penn State is about out of the darkness from all the embarrassment of several years ago.
Today is another day off together and we will most likely spend this day taking down and putting away some of our Christmas decorations. As much as we love all the decorations, they take up valuable space in our rig. We'll leave all the outside decorations stay for probably another week or so. We say this every year, but the joyous Christmas season always seems too short when it is all over and done with for another year...
