It's the Potato Bowl

It's official, the Western Michigan University Broncos will face the Air Force Academy on December 20th in Boise, ID at the Potato Bowl. There was some disappointment in the bowl announcement as many of the WMU players are from FL and they were wanting to be near home, I'm sure, for the big game. Patty also was a little disappointed as she said it would be much like watching a regular season game in the cold weather. But it is still a good match up and a great occasion for Austin and his team that turned around the football program at his university.

We watched the Seahawks torch the Philadelphia Eagles 24-14 yesterday as the Seahawks are beginning to look like a Super Bowl team again. It was good to see the Cardinals win again also, so it should be interesting to see how the playoffs line up in a few weeks.

Other than football, the day was taken up with Josie doing some laundry while I again did some organizing on my new project. We also have another photo of our Christmas tree that Josie enhanced with more decorations:

Nice job!

We start an interesting week today which will include my start at Sam's Club on Tuesday. That is, assuming I get my instructions from them today about the training and orientation that is supposedly taking place tomorrow afternoon...
