Frigid

Right now it is 27 degrees outside. The good news is there is no precipitation which would be snow, for sure. It was cold all day yesterday with a high of 42, but it dropped rapidly in the afternoon as the sun went down. So far, we have had no problems inside as a result of the cold temperatures - meaning our water is still OK.

There wasn't much happening yesterday except for another interview with a prospective employer that was supposed to be a Skype video call. There were technical problems at the other end so it turned out to be a conference call using our speaker phone. The interview went well from our standpoint and we are awaiting further word from them on a next step.

We are sorry we signed up for the overtime day today. The more we thought about it, the more we need to take the extra day off since we have been slaving at this job since early July. Last year we only had about 6 weeks total to work so it made a difference. This year, we need the extra break more than the extra money. But... since we committed to doing it this week, we'll get ready and be out of here by 5:30 AM...
