Dinner at Magic Wok

Even though it was a cold 29 degrees when we left for work yesterday morning, it warmed up to 52 and was a nice day. Unfortunately, we couldn't enjoy the day while inside. There probably won't be too many more like that.

The highlight of the day was our dinner at the Magic Wok where we had Chinese buffet. There were 4 couples there - Scott and Valerie, Rodger and Sue and Scott's brother Jeff and his wife Marsha - and us, of course. Jeff and Marsha were the couple that worked at Bethpage while we were working at Grey's Point this past summer. They will not return to Bethpage for the same reasons we left and will not return - poor management and not enough hours.

Even though I took the camera, I almost forgot to get a picture until we were just about ready to leave. The first shot is of Scott, Valerie, Sue and Rodger:

Scott took this picture of us - Jeff, Marsha, Josie and me, as I had already put on my jacket to leave:

It was a fun time and we hope to get together at least one more time before we have to pack up and leave.

Rodger and Sue stopped in for a glass of wine before calling it a night. They had yesterday (last night) off so it was still early in their day, as we made it to bed at around 9 PM to get rest before our 3rd work day of this week. The good news is that we expect this to be our last 5 day work week. The speculation is that our last day of work will be Monday, December 19. If that's true, we should get a nice early start to our travels south to Memphis for Christmas. That only leaves 2 weeks of work to go - yeah!!!
