BBQ at State Park

Following our normal workday yesterday, we went to a BBQ that our friends Sue and Roger were having at the Green River State Park where they are staying. It was close to 5:30 by the time we took showers and headed out to the park which is 5 miles away. It brought back some memories - mostly good - about the time we spent there last year. It is definitely better to have the grassy sites vs crushed rock where we are, but we sure like the convenience and 50 amp service plus full hookups that we enjoy at our park this year. The BBQ was  great fun and was attended by several other folks, including a couple ladies that are traveling alone and waiting to start work at Amazon this week. We saw the deer family that we saw regularly last year while traveling in and out of the park, but the pictures we took of them were blurred, so we won't publish those. Below are a couple of pictures I took while there. The first is of Roger cooking:

Sue was inside getting things ready for dinner. The others in the picture are Valerie  (Scott's wife), Vicky (single lady starting at Amazon this week) Josie and Scott. Scott and Valerie are friends from last year and are staying at our park until their other friends arrive later in the week, after which they will move back to the State Park. The second picture is at the table, eating:

Roger and Sue are at the end of the table, and the second single lady joined us (the blonde haired lady next to Vicky). It was very cool - in the 50's - so that's why we were all bundled up. That's Vicky's motor home in the picture in which she travels alone (along with the little Chevy that she tows behind). It was a fun evening, and we left shortly after 8 PM to come home.

It was a little later going to bed last night, but not enough to cause a major problem for today. We decided to work another overtime day this Tuesday, so we will sign up for that today. It is again cold this morning - 41 degrees - and it is still dropping. What happened to Fall?
