Rain Rain Rain

We really needed all the rain we got the last two days. There was a record set for the rainfall - 2.66" in one day which equaled the total rainfall for the entire monsoon season. It is just about over now, but we are sure enjoying the cooler weather that accompanied the rain. We are fortunate to not have an flooding situations in our area but some have been hit pretty hard. Even with our flooding, it pales in comparison to North Carolina and other areas that have recently been victims of heavy rainfall.

Josie drove herself to work yesterday which was an early day (7 AM) and she also handled the rain well along with the darkness that she had for the start of her commute. As today is a late day for her (10 AM), I will drive her and pick her up at 6 PM so that she doesn't have to fight the traffic in the darkness.

Just a side note: the new NFL power rankings came out today and after four weeks the Cardinals rank 31 (out of 32 teams) and the Seahawks rank 21. My teams have a long way to go...
