Crazy Season

The football games yesterday were full of surprises. Actually, there were only two games that I will mention here. The Penn State Game was a disappointment - again- as, even though they won, 33-28, they tried very hard to give away the game for the third straight week. They had a 12 point lead with 4 minutes to play and the game ended with Indiana on the 30 yard line of Penn State. Like I said before, they just can't seem to put away a team when they have the lead.

Number 2 Ohio State lost in a route by unranked Purdue, 49-20. Wow. I would say that, once again, the class of college football is Alabama who just rolls along each week, stomping every team they play.

This weekend will be a lonely one as far as my favorite pro teams. The Cardinals and the Seahawks are off today.

Our Sunday is wide open today following our attendance at church. Tomorrow is the scheduled over-seeding on our golf course which means it will be closed to golfers until November 10. They sure do take good care of these golf courses as they were out at 4 AM this morning with preparations for the project. It will be nice to see the real green grass again in a couple weeks...
