The slow recovery for Josie continues. She still feels the effects of her Vertigo, and the side effects from the medications she is taking are not helping. They are making her drowsy and she is fighting episodes of diarrhea. We will pass on church today to give her more rest.
I watched the disappointing game yesterday between Penn State and Michigan State. PSU was favored and played like they didn't belong on the same field with Michigan State. As bad as they played, they still had a chance to win if they could have gotten just one first down with 1.5 minutes to go. The game was almost identical to the Ohio State game the week before when they blew a led at the end of the game only to lose (21-17). They just can't seem to be able to put away an opponent. Their season is now going to be a long one as the loss probably removes them from consideration for any of the top bowls. Oh well, we have the Cardinals and Seahawks today. I hope they have better outcomes but my expectations are low.
Yesterday, the owner of the shop where Josie will start working in a week sent a copy of the schedule for November. She will be working 4 days a week - at least starting out. Josie drove to the shop just to see how long it will take. The total was 10 minutes - round trip. She is excited about the new job and especially about the commute. We hope it all works out...
