Progress on Lake

We took a nice long (2.25 miles) hike yesterday morning. The progress on removing the debris and junk that has floated down from the north side of the lake is slowly being removed. We took a couple shots of the scum that remains and it can be seen, in this first one at least, that the effort is gaining ground on the problem:

The removal is being performed by the use of the resorts' front loader, and it seems like the debris is made up mostly of wood chips (?):

The south ramp has been closed while this cleanup is taking place. We haven't talked to anyone in the office about a date for the ramp to reopen.

We followed that with a trip to the shopping center where Josie got a pedicure while I went to Home Depot to look for spray bottles. Josie needed a bottle to use for spraying water on arrangements at work. I went to three stores before I found one for her that would work without spending a lot of money.

We relaxed outside for the rest of the afternoon in the beautiful sunshine - 84 degrees and no wind.

Our plan for today is to drive to Wickenburg for our scheduled session at the offices for the Trilogy Ranch at Wickenburg development. We don't know exactly how that will turn out, so stay tuned for that report tomorrow...
