I took what has become my usual daily bike ride which takes me to the south ramp of the lake each day. All of the winds we've had the previous three days have caused another debris flow from the north of the lake. They had to close the ramp again for the second time this season. This is a shot of the latest debris:
In all the years we have been coming to the lake, we've never seen this problem occur. Whatever activity has taken place at the north end of the lake has resulted in this problem and one wonders what care was taken by the crews that did the work up there.
Josie worked her last day until Saturday and has the next two days to enjoy. She took this shot of another postcard sunset on the way home:
We don't have much planned today except we will make a trip to our storage unit, shake our heads, and grab the Christmas decorations so we can get set up at the site. We hope to be ready for the holidays by the end of the weekend.
Along with holiday setup, we hope to take advantage of at least some of the early Black Friday sales. At least, there is the one at Michael's that runs on Sunday night. 'Tis the season...
