Watching Seasonal Changes

We have gone down into the 30's each of the last five mornings and the leaves are beginning to turn their Fall colors. We have a small crabapple tree in our yard that has gone full cycle now - blooming in the Spring, growing apples during the summer and now the apples are turning red and beginning to fall from the tree:



Josie is going to look up some recipes for using these apples so we can see if they are worth saving.

In a short while we will be able to get some nice shots of the changing colors in the Park. As long as the temperatures are going into the 30's at night, it will speed up the effects of the Fall color changes.

There are a couple of chores that we need to get done today. We ran out of propane in our little gas tank we use for grilling and will need to get that refilled. We will probably also top off the regular tanks as we haven't had to refill any of the propane since we arrived in May. We also have the lawn to mow which we keep putting off so that it will be the final cut for the season. Everything is pointing to the season winding down...
