Eye on the End

Our eyes are getting focused on the end of the ride for this season. One week from today would normally be our last work day but we will have four more working days beyond that before we call it quits for another season. We are closely watching the weather and even though it looks good for the next several days, there is a cold front approaching at the end of the week. Just so it doesn't snow.

Our campground is showing lighter crowds each day and here is a shot of the campground as it appeared yesterday:


It sure is nice with the Fall colors.

Josie is diligently working on canning her crabapple jelly. She made the first batch yesterday and has lots left to do. This is how it looks so far:


We'll have a good supply when it's all done.

I'm waiting for a nice, warm morning, so I can begin getting the fifth wheel ready for our trip. I want to clean the outside but the weather hasn't cooperated during the days I wanted to tackle that project. This Thursday is suppose to be nice, so it may be the only chance we will have...
