Propane and Laundry

The main activities for the chilly morning yesterday were to get propane and do laundry. I filled the small grilling tank and topped off the first of the two main tanks for the fifth wheel. Josie did laundry and came home frustrated again over the poor performance of the dryers in the laundry room. Every time she does laundry it requires extra cycles to get the clothes dry. She has notified the maintenance manager at the lodge several different times and nothing gets fixed, so she has threatened - again- to do the laundry someplace else.

While looking at the entry for the same day last year it looks like I could almost repeat the same status. It was also chilly and we had the same mix of guests at the lodge - almost as many walk-ins as guests with reservations. It seems to be the norm and will most likely be the pattern every year.

Our plan this morning is to take a drive through the Hoback Canyon to view the colorful changes in the landscape. Every year, the bushes along that drive turn a bright red and create a wonderful Fall scene to kick off the cold season. We also still have the grass to mow, so it may turn out to be a busy day...
