Idle Time at Work

The pace at work - at least for this week - has reached a snail's pace. There were only about 30 reservations that checked in last night and we have close to the same number for tonight. Except for this weekend when there is the youth soccer tournament and a gun show, the rest of the time we have will be spent at the same slow pace. There are only eight more days of work scheduled - including the four additional that we are staying over to work - before heading out for AZ.

Our only full day off this week (tomorrow) is expected to be warm and sunny. The forecast for the foreseeable future is for nice weather for the next three days and then some rain with cooling temps. As long as there is no snow in the forecast, we're fine.

We are taking the truck to the store today to get some groceries and to gas up for the trip. Our points from the store that we have been accumulating for fuel discounts runs out at the end of this month and we want to use the remaining points for diesel fuel which will give us a $.60 per gallon discount. With the diesel price currently at $3.95 per gallon, the discount will be welcome.

There are lots of things that we need to do in the next week or so. The time is running out and we will schedule everything as best as we can...
