Quiet Day

It was a very quiet day yesterday in the Guido household in Naperville. There were no games scheduled and no meetings or other activities that we had to rush around to prepare for. The kids were in school and we just did some things around the house.

The boys played outside following school and doing their homework until dinner time. Austin went to do his daily workouts and everybody was ready for a taco dinner at 5 PM:

The rest of the night was free time for everybody and all of us went to bed at 9 PM.

Today is expected to be another day like yesterday. We have things to do to make sure the boys get their uniforms ready for pictures, do our own laundry and a couple other tasks that we said we would complete while Mark and Patty are away. We heard from them yesterday and they are enjoying their trip so far. It was a long travel day for them but for the next several days they can relax and enjoy the Hawaiian sunshine. Rain is expected here today and it will cool things down from the 80's we have experienced the last few days - it will be a welcomed change...
