and Patty and Mark were ready for their drive to the airport:
in this limo:
Our alone time was the rest of the morning and early afternoon when we went to the store to get some things for our special diet, worked out a bit on the treadmill and basically rested for the ballgame that the twins had at 6 PM.
The twins play in the Naperville Little League and they are part of a pretty good team. Brandon and Jordan are two of the better players and I took lots of pictures of the game.
These first shots are of Brandon who was the catcher in this Game and was a real on-the-field leader:
and this one taken of his first at bat where he was the lead-off batter and doubled over the head of the center fielder:
Jordan was third in the batting order and he started with a hit of his own down the first base line:
They played a great game and won 9-1, and they each contributed offensively and defensively. Brandon had a triple, double and single and Jordan had a double and two singles. Brandon's triple and double were close to hitting the fence and were almost home runs. He already has (I believe) two home runs over the fence this year.
Their next game is Saturday and we have to get them ready for pictures before that game. Friday is the big day for Austin when he has his Senior Prom. It is amazing how these boys have grown up so much in just the last couple of years. Mike is also scheduled home this weekend so we look forward to seeing him on Friday night.
In the meantime, we are sure that Patty and Mark are enjoying a relaxing first day in Sunny Hawaii...
