We made last minute changes to our storage in the basement to make up for the lost room in the Jeep for traveling. We gassed up the truck and Josie did laundry while I did the packing up outside to get ready for an early departure this morning. The plan is to leave around 8 AM so we can travel the almost 300 miles to Coeur D'Alene today. The trip will be almost entirely on I-90, so we don't expect any delays. There is one pass - Snoqualmie Pass - that we know may have some snow on top, but we don't see any problems on the roadway from the temperatures we have this morning.
The campground in Coeur D'Alene is named Tamarack RV Park and we are traveling without reservations at any of the planned stops on this trip. We normally make reservations, but they take our credit card information when we do that and if, for any reason, there is a delay or we don't make it to the planned campground, our credit card gets charged. At this time of the year we shouldn't have a problem getting a space as a walk-in.
It's not raining at this point in the day so we hope the front is through for now and we have a dry travel day. See you from Coeur D'Alene tomorrow AM...
