Game Day

The twins left early for their picture session and for the game yesterday. The coach picked them up at 9:30 and they left with sparkling clean uniforms for the pictures. Who knows if they were still clean by the time the pictures were taken.

The game was at noon and we watched another good game that the boys team won, 8-0. Jordan and Brandon each stood out again as they had 3 hits each. Brandon was again the leadoff batter and he hit a double to start the 3 run first inning:

We were home by 2:30 and saw this sign on the front yard that was added by somebody (?) while we were gone:

 Austin was gone on his trip to Michigan for the weekend so we don't know if he saw it or not. The boys went to the coaches house for the afternoon following the game while we hung out with Oakley the rest of the day:

We watched the "wet" Kentucky Derby and just had an otherwise quiet day.

There is another game today at noon, at a different field location from the rest of the games. We have directions to the park and expect to be there by noon. The boys will be picked up again this morning by their coach, so we know they will be there on time.

Patty and Mark will begin their long journey home tonight and we expect to see them tomorrow AM at around 7 - if all goes according to the schedule...
