Downtown Jackson

The first order of business yesterday was to check-in at the Lodge with the Financial Manager, Julie, to complete our paperwork for our work start on May 26. Most of the information was the same as last year so it was a short process. We spent more time talking about changes and how things went over the winter.

We then stopped at the front desk and saw Judy, our manager, and Jim Triplet, the Administrative Manager, and had a nice visit with them. We are the only workamping couple this year since the other, long time couple (Fields and Maggie Young) are not coming this year as a result of some health issues with Maggie. The work schedule this year will include a couple of local folks who have worked here in the past.

The weather was starting to clear so we went downtown to walk the Square and check out the changes there. We only spent time walking around the Town Square and a few of the "alleys" off of Main street. This is one of the alleys:

And a couple shots of the Town Square:

The town is still beautiful, of course, and we took this shot of downtown where you can see the snow that still remains on the Sno King ski mountain:

Our agenda for today includes a ride up to the Tetons which should be gorgeous as there is not a cloud in the sky this morning. Expect to see some good shots tomorrow of the Tetons with all the snow at this time of the year...
