Back Home in Fall City

There was lots and lots of traffic so the trip to the airport took us almost an hour and a half yesterday. We had hoped to get there 1 1/2 hours before the flight but we had about an hour instead. It was plenty of time though since we already had our boarding passes and it was a quick check-in of our baggage at the curb. The flight took off almost on time and the pleasant surprise occurred almost immediately. The in-flight instructions that hardly anybody listens to regarding the oxygen masks, seat belts, floatation devices, etc. was sung by one of the flight attendants. She had a beautiful voice and all of the passengers gave her a round of applause when she finished. The flight was excellent and we had clear skies the whole way. I took a couple shots of the snow covered Cascade Mountains when we reached Washington:

That's Mt Adams in the distance

The real surprise occurred just following our touch down at SeaTac in Seattle. The flight attendant with the beautiful voice sang Happy Trails to You and followed that with an announcement that she is the granddaughter of Dale Evans and Roy Rogers. Once again there was great applause from all the passengers.

Everything was fine when we returned to the hotel, picked up our car, drove home and set up the rig again by turning the water back on and the propane back on. We went to the store to restock our refrigerator and we are now set for another week in this nice area of WA...
