Do Nothing Day

It was a stay at home and do nothing day the day before Mother's Day. We didn't visit Kristine and the kids as she had errands to run and would not be home for much of the day so we agreed to see them today. Since Kristine is going to school four days a week, she has to catch up on her own duties on her days off.

There aren't many days that we stay home like that but it helps sometimes to have a lazy day. We're getting close to our getaway day anyway and there are things we need to arrange for our trip without the Jeep since some of the items we carried in the Jeep while traveling will now have to go into the truck or into the basement of the fifth wheel. I was hoping for some progress on locating our new vehicle but didn't gain much ground except to open dialogue with another dealer in the Jackson area. We can't do much anyway until we arrive in Jackson next weekend.

We've had some outstanding weather the last few days but the rain has returned today. All of the plants and flowers that are known for this area are all bursting - the azaleas, rhododendrons and blooming trees. It is the perfect time of year in Washington even though there is still some lingering rain. By the time late June arrives, there will not be much rain at all. The temps are in the very comfortable range of the 70's and 80's, so we aren't complaining.

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY !!
