It was just a typical first day off yesterday. Rest and relax around the rig and catch up on missed TV shows during the work week. Even though we work Friday through Monday and most of the good TV shows are during our days off, we generally go to bed too early to catch them when they are originally broadcast. The real advantage to copying them and watching them later is that we can edit out the ads and watch just the good stuff. We are pretty much caught up on the shows now, but still have a few movies we copied that we haven't watched yet.
The weather has been taking some wild swings lately. We go from near freezing some nights to lows of only 55. Then we go from highs in the low 50's to a high of 72 yesterday. It is suppose to go down to the high 20's by tomorrow night, so who knows what it's going to be like from do to day. It is very different from last year's weather. It was constantly in the high 60's and low 70's every day and the lowest it went during November last year was 31 on the 26th of the month.
We're almost, but not quite to the time when we can count the number of working days before we leave for nicer weather and new adventures. This has certainly been an experience to remember and we definitely will not ever commit to such a long time working for them again. We just remind ourselves that the money is good and that's why we're here...
