It started raining last night and the forecast for the next 7 days is not looking real good. Actually, it is calling for more rain today and tomorrow with a chance of snow mixed in on Tuesday. The lows will be in the low to mid 30's the next couple nights and then, following the rain, it will dip into the high 20's for several days for the low. It is about time we see the winter weather arrive. We have been a little bit lucky, I guess, since parts of the country have already had a big snowstorm.
Work was about normal yesterday - tiring. Josie and I both worked in the same area for most of the day until I got called away to do more case stowing at the other end of the warehouse. It just isn't the same this year. The people are different - older, and not as nice as the group we had last year - and the company seems to have eliminated some the fun things they did last year. There are still no treats like we had everyday last year and the management doesn't seem to have the same "spirit" as the crew we had in 2010. We're hoping it changes soon.
Day 3 this week is today and we're really beginning to look more closely at the calendar now...
