We woke up this morning to 26 degrees. It was December last year before we had this kind of cold weather and we're hoping it is just another freak weather front going through.
The rest of Christmas was retrieved from our basement storage and Josie decorated the rig so we are ready for the "spirit" to set in for the holidays. This year, we did it much earlier than last except for the outside lights that I need to put out sometime over the weekend. It does seem like the time will go faster with the decorations reminding us of the Christmas season - mental thing, I guess.
Our dinner last night at Gatti's was so-so. The problem I think was that we went too early - 4 PM and there were not many fresh, hot pizzas in the buffet line. They showed up as we were finishing our meal at around 6 PM following all our conversation. Anyway, here are the shots from dinner. First is the sign as you may recognize from before:
Next is the shot of Rodger and Sue:
They just switched from stowing to picking so they had lots to talk about. They still prefer the night shift and, with their schedule being different from ours, only allows us to get together on Thursday nights which is our only common day off during the week.
Hey, folks - there are only 5 weeks to go. Yes, we can do this...
