Open House

We received a call from our agent yesterday informing us that they have scheduled an Open House at our property. It will be this Saturday, between 11 AM and 5 PM. As a former realtor, I know that it is rare to sell anything at an open house but occasionally you find a buyer that way. They generally end up as an information tool for the neighbors and other "Looky-Lou's" who try to get ideas for their own homes. The signal that is sent though, is that we are anxious to sell. Our fingers are crossed. We'll see what happens with that before making any decisions on changes early next week.

I have another appointment with my Optometrist today which is the final appointment before my second eye surgery scheduled for the 15th. If it goes like the first surgery, it will be a piece of cake. It is an inconvenience, but worth the effort based on the results from my first one.

The workload is increasing at a rapid rate at Josie's shop. They are now beginning to go full steam with Valentine's Day arrangements, so the fun begins. It will go on, without a break, until Thursday of next week...
