We are the third row from the front - I'm wearing the hat on the left and Josie is the second from the rear on the right side. It's a pretty good shot of our raft as we entered the largest of the rapids. There were a few more shots that were taken while we rode through the rapids, but this one is the best as far as seeing us clearly on the raft. We'll do it again next year.
We spent a lot of time yesterday morning getting things squared away with our credit card. We will receive a replacement card in the next few days and it is becoming very clear that we need to rethink our association with Bank of America. The fact that there are no branches in Wyoming makes it very difficult in situations like this as we cannot go into the branch to take care of these kind of problems., including faster replacement and activation of a new card. We hope that the person who is responsible for this is found and prosecuted.
Our shift at work last night was one of the worst we have experienced here at the lodge. We are working with a new lady that is extremely difficult to work with and she caused several problems for us. There were 78 check-ins scheduled plus a bus last night. We were extremely busy at the front desk between about 3:30 and 6:30 PM and the new girl caused several embarrassing problems that required us to change folks' rooms and messed up a couple reservations that required revisions. The problem is that she thinks she can do everything without asking for help and she creates more problems. We will have to have a long talk with Judy, our manager, on Monday. We were happy to see the shift end at 11 PM last night.
It's a beautiful morning outside and we are talking about different options to take advantage of the nice weather. Hopefully, we can clear our heads to work one more shift with this new girl today...
