Business in Idaho Falls

Our final day off this week was taken with another visit to Idaho Falls. There were some items that Josie needed to return to Michael's, and there were other objectives. We both got haircuts at Walmart and then we went to the Jiffy Lube to get the Jeep serviced. It was only 500 miles overdue for the service, so we hit that scheduled service almost dead-on. It was a beautiful day and we also stopped at Sam's Club to pick up some fruit following the Michael's visit and then we headed home. A stop at the homemade ice cream store in Swan Valley on the way back was a real treat. We are set now for another few weeks before we need to go back again.

Our replacement ice maker for the freezer arrived yesterday, so that is on the agenda for today. It doesn't look like a complicated job which scares me. Anything that looks so simple has to have hidden factors to make it a tough job. We'll see this morning.

It also looks like our lawn is about ready for another mowing, so we may try to squeeze that in before we return to work this afternoon.

Mike Kraft, our General Manager at the lodge stopped by yesterday afternoon to drop off two "comp" tickets to the annual Wilson Chicken Fry held by the Volunteer Fire Department in Wilson. We went last year and were shocked at the size of the crowd. This year, it is scheduled for Sunday at noon, so we hope to get there early tomorrow morning so that we don't have to wait in the long lines like we did last year. The Fair is also on now and until July 27th, so we have lots of fun things to look forward to...
