Stay Home Day

We started the day yesterday thinking that Josie may do some laundry and go to the salon to have her nails done. She started downloading some music in the morning to put on her phone and that pretty much consumed the rest of her day. I was waiting around to watch the Seahawks playoff game against the New Orleans Saints, so I wasn't anxious to go anywhere. We did do some extra exercising as we did the 2 mile walk in the AM, and followed that in the early afternoon with another one mile walk.

The NFL playoffs are especially exciting for me this year as I have been a Seahawks fan for almost 35 years, and this year I think they have a great shot to win the Super Bowl. Their last - and only - visit to the Super Bowl was in 2006 when they lost to the Pittsburgh Steelers. It was a good start yesterday, and they will play next week for the Conference championship which will determine the Super Bowl representative from the NFC. Go Seahawks!

Maybe today we will get the rest of the stuff done that was planned for yesterday. With only one more day left before Josie returns to work, so she will have to do her planned activities today or wait another week. Between her crocheting and now her music project, it may be tough.

Is it possible we've turned the corner as far as the wind is concerned? It has been since October that we have had more than 3 consecutive days with wind gusts below 10 mph. We are beginning our fifth consecutive day this morning. Temperatures are forecast in 70's all week, so it is looking real good...
