Just about everything I wanted to accomplish yesterday was completed.
The warranty work on our fifth wheel will be scheduled for next week as the mobile tech is waiting on the hose to use as a replacement for the hydraulic line that has a leak. He was waiting on final approval from the warranty company and he has that now.
I heard from Danny, our Spring Training Manager, and he e-mailed a schedule for training classes to be held in February. We chose one of the rare days that Josie has off just before Valentine's Day which is February 9. It will be about a four hour class that will run from 11 AM to about 3 PM on that date. The games will start at the end of February and run through March. The timing is great as my unemployment benefits from Wyoming have run out.
Another action item that was completed yesterday was ordering a replacement piece of foam for a sofa cushion. The center cushion has flattened some with most of the use being on that cushion, and another was ordered from foambuy.com, and will be here in about 10 days.
From now until the end of the first week in February, we will be receiving all of our W-2's and 1099's for the tax year. I have all the receipts and files ready to prepare the taxes when they arrive, and already have the Turbo Tax software to complete the taxes for the year 2013.
That brings us up to date on miscellaneous chores. We are looking forward to a nice weekend which will include a visit to a new retirement development - CantaMia - that is located in Goodyear, AZ, near the Estrella Mountains. We are always open to looking at new retirement communities, even though this is not in an especially desirable area for us. Hey, maybe the area has changed...
