Emptying Basement

We tied the record here yesterday for consecutive dry days in winter - 39. The temperatures have been in the 70's every day for almost three straight weeks which is above the normal 69 average. You can't ask for more than that.

I took another 5 mile bike ride yesterday making it 25 miles for the week so far. It's like any other exercise routine in that once you get into the practice of doing it, you almost feel guilty when you don't. I got this one shot of the lake from the south ramp where I could see a few sailboats out on the water:

The main task for the day was to empty the basement in preparation for the mobile tech who arrives this morning. It is a good practice to empty, clean and reorganize the basement at least once a year, so this qualifies for that. The basement looks like new after the cleaning:

This will enable the tech to run the new hydraulics line to the rear stabilizer that has a leak. It also will allow him to gain access to the remaining support bracket for the bedroom slideout. The slideout needs adjustment in order to open flush with the interior walls. I hope to have a before and after photo tomorrow to show the problem and the fix.

Josie has her final work day today for this week. It is the calm before the storm, as the Valentine's Day push begins on Monday and her hours will be extended. It's great that she loves her work and never complains...
