We gathered up the things we wanted to take to storage and emptied the small shed that we used here at the site. It was one of the quickest trips we have taken to storage and we were in and out within 10 minutes. We went and visited Carole in her new home here and said our goodbyes to her. Josie then spent a good part of the day cleaning out the Jeep and washing it, and I took the truck to TNT Carwash in Surprise for a mini-detail. The truck needed a good cleaning, inside and out, so the carwash was a better option with its size. It is now spick-and-span and ready to go after I stopped at Fry's and filled the gas tank with diesel that I got for .30 off per gallon with the Fry's rewards. Even with the discount, the fuel was $3.59 per gallon. Two hundred dollars later I stopped the fueling and was still 17 gallons short of filling both tanks. There is plenty to last us for at least the first two legs of our trip.
The last full day, today, will be spent putting away our things inside the fifth wheel, plus packing up the grill and we should be ready to go. We plan to leave around 9 or 10 AM tomorrow, so there is still no rush to finish up the packing.
Happy Easter Everybody !!
