Game Draws Big Crowd

First of all, the game yesterday was between the Cubs and the Rangers and not the White Sox and Rangers. I read the schedule we have and it only said that CHI was playing the Rangers and I assumed the White Sox. It made a difference in the crowd as the Cubs always draw a huge fan base in this area. The sales yesterday were the heaviest so far this spring. It was a challenge to keep the levels of all food at the "available" stage during the entire game. We did a great job keeping the lines to a minimum and moving them quickly. Our manager complemented us on our handling of the crowd yesterday. The only regret I have is that I don't get any chance to watch any of the games. The Rangers beat the Cubs 3-2 in what was a great game to watch.

Today's game is between the Mariners and the Royals so it is another game I wish I could watch. The Mariners are tearing up the Cactus league and have only lost one game so far while winning ten. I'm sure they wish it was the regular season. It just may be that this is the year we will see an improvement in the team and maybe they won't finish in last place in their Division. It is a long season beginning in April.

It will be interesting to see if the rain develops that is forecast for Friday. They don't postpone these games unless it really gets bad, so it should be interesting tomorrow. It looks like a nice day again today, so that's all that matters right now...
