We finally had a "normal" game yesterday. It only took 2 1/2 hours for the Rangers to beat the Cincinnati Reds, 7-2, in front of over 7100 fans. Business was brisk, but not overwhelming, as Josie was able to leave by 3:30 and I arrived home before 5 PM last night. It was also our final weekend game which means we are done with that crew. The only games remaining are a night game on Wednesday, and two day games on Thursday and Friday. The weekday crew is much better to work with and we will enjoy the last few games because of that. We leave Surprise, headed for WA and our summer schedule, one week from today.
There are chores to do and some last minute organizing before we can say we are ready to go. Mostly, it is taking more "stuff" to storage and getting our closets ready for the warmer weather. There really isn't a whole lot more to do, so maybe we can also throw in some fun times and relaxation during our remaining days off. There are a few things we need to get from Costco or Sam's Club and we will get back to doing our regular workouts at the fitness center which have been lagging during our work days. With only one week to go, there isn't a whole lot of time left for much else...
