Ready for Appointments

Our meeting with the ARAMARK General Manager is scheduled for Monday, so we completed those applications and also the background check form. We are anxious to have that meeting so we will find out what our duties will be for the Spring Training games. Our guess is that many people return from previous years, so our choices may not be many. As long as it is something other than cleaning toilets, we'll be happy. We'll have that answer on Monday.

I also have appointments scheduled for today - my doctor - and Friday - truck service. This will be the month where we get all those things out of the way. There are still appointments to be scheduled for the month, including my Gastroenterologist for a Colonoscopy. That should be performed at least every two years and it has been over three years since my last one was performed. They are not fun as the prep for that procedure includes an enema. We do what we have to do.

Another hobby that we got our hands on yesterday - for a while - is crocheting for Josie and cross stitching for me. There are about 6 or 7 afghans that are in various stages of completion and Josie organized all of the yarn and those projects into separate containers. I did some work on a cross stitch that I started around the time we went on the road and haven't touched since that time. This is a good time to get back into those projects.

There are a couple places that we want to visit yet before the work starts up again, so we will do some planning for those short excursions within the next couple weeks. One is Wickenburg where we like the old west feel, and another is the White Tank Mountains where we would like to do at least one hike before we leave. There are others that will be included, so we'll see what happens...
