Crafting

When the cool, damp weather arrives, it is easy to concentrate on crafts that we've been ignoring over the past several years. Actually, it isn't "ignoring" as much as finding the time to pay attention to those projects that have been labeled "in progress" for a long time. For Josie, it is working on unfinished afghans, and starting a new one. For me, it is a cross stitch that I started several years ago and will finally complete, hopefully, while we are still here. We both had forgotten how relaxing and fun it was to work on these projects. The weather is making it an easy choice for the next several days.

Today, however, we will venture out to the RV show that is being held at the University of Phoenix Stadium. That is, for those who don't know or have forgotten, the new Stadium in Glendale with the retractable roof. Today the top will be closed for sure during the rain. The show is not a huge one as La Mesa RV is putting on the whole show. They are one of, if not the largest, RV dealers in the Phoenix area so they will easily fill the stadium with product. It is free, so it sounds like a good chance to see some of the new rigs that are available and the new features that are offered in today's coaches.

The rest of the day will most likely be spent on our craft projects which make our time here a nice change of pace...
