Quiet Fathers Day

It was a very quiet Fathers Day with work taking up most of the day. We are getting busier and busier each day now and that helps make the time go faster at the front desk. By the time we got off work at 3 PM, I was ready to watch the final round of the U.S. Open golf tournament. I was happy to see that Tiger was folding and was not going to be a factor in the outcome. I've become a non-fan of his since he destroyed his family with his multiple affairs and secret life he was conducting out of the public eye. The tournament was excellent without him and the drama was unpredictable to the end.

Our third day of the 7 AM to 3 PM schedule is today and we have a nice event scheduled for tonight. We will return to the Bar J Chuckwagon tonight for some entertainment and a nice BBQ. We went to this event while visiting here from Cody a couple years ago and thoroughly enjoyed the show, although our recollection of the meal was somewhat disappointing back then. We hope this experience is 100% enjoyable. Our tickets are comped as employees of the Lodge, so we don't have much to lose.

We are trying to squeeze in as much of the "free" activities as we can in the month of June. Most of the free tickets are for the month of June which is before the real busy season of July and August. There is another rafting company that has given us complimentary passes for June, so we want to schedule that trip before the month ends. We also have to schedule a horse back riding date as we have passes for a free trip with one of those in town. That will probably be for next week on our days off. Ho, hum. It's a tough life trying to schedule all these fun trips in a short time...
