Normal, Routine Day

There wasn't much to differentiate yesterday from any other work day. We worked from 7 AM until 3 PM and had nothing unusual happen. There was the normal tour bus arrival and about 30 other check-ins that we had to handle. Most of the day was spent in casual conversation with Donna, the nice lady that we work with on the weekends.

We made a trip to the store following work to pick up a few items and we found a car wash in town that we could drive the truck through for a quick wash. It was one of those drive-in, automated washes that made us a little nervous because a truck with "duallies" barely fits into the wash bay. It made it through OK and even though these washes never do a great job, it is still better than it was. The other stop we made was to find a block of some kind to use as a bottom step at our fifth wheel since the first step is pretty high. We located a solution at the lumber yard where we bought 4 small cinder blocks to use as a  bottom step. They are each 4" x 6" x16" and the cost was $10 for all 4 so they will do the job.

Day number 2 for the week is today and the schedule will be the same. I hope to get to see the final round of the U.S. Open Golf Championship following work so that will be something to look forward to. It is shaping up to be a great tournament after watching the end of the 3rd round yesterday. It's also Father's Day, so happy Father's Day to all the Dad's out there...
