We hope that every Sunday is like the one we had yesterday. There were not many check-ins and the regular duties were performed without any problems. There was plenty of time to just chat and get to know each other better. We know that it is going to get a lot busier, but for now, it is a real easy day.
Today we will work with the Manager's daughter, Chelsea, and be done work at 3 PM. The nice thing about finishing up today is that we will then have 24 hours of free time before beginning 2 days of 3 to 11 PM. We think we are going to like this schedule as it does provide a small break in the middle of the work week.
There are so many things we want to do and we are trying to decide on a sequence for doing them. One thing we will do almost immediately is make reservations for the 2 dinner shows that we want to attend over the summer. One is the Bar-T-5 Cookout. That is a dinner show where you are taken by covered wagon to an area where you have an old western cookout that is followed by western music entertainment. The second is a show at the Jackson Hole Playhouse that is a sit down dinner followed by the popular western musical comedy, The Ballad of Cat Ballou. They both should be events well worth the time and money.
Then, we need to schedule the times for our rafting trip and horseback riding adventure. The rafting should be scheduled early in the summer while the river is still high from snow runoff. The horseback trip can be scheduled anytime. Also, there is a trip to the top of Sno-King mountain in Jackson Hole on the chairlift that we want to take. Of course, there are always the trips to the 2 Parks that will be almost every week that we have some time off. We never get enough of the rewarding visits to those places. We can't think of a place we'd rather be right now...
