Supermoon

First of all, there were mixed results from the big games yesterday. The Cardinals did not surprise in losing to the LA Rams, 32-16 in the game at the Phoenix Stadium. The big surprise was the game between the Seahawks and the Philadelphia Eagles - won by the Seahawks in spectacular fashion, 24-10. The Eagles lost for only the second time this year and ended a nine game winning streak. That win indicates that the Seahawks may not roll over as their key defensive players are out with injuries leading into the playoff season. Great game!

There was a rare "supermoon" last night as it appeared larger than normal. Occasionally, the moon passes closer to earth and creates an enlarged view as it rises. We took these shots, which aren't the best view, but is all we could get with our cameras:

I did hear that we will again see this kind of view in January.

Shortly after watching the moon rise, we heard a banging noise outside of our RV like there was someone knocking on the rear of the unit. It turned out to be two javelinas that got too close to our rig and made a nuisance of themselves. We chased them off by banging a pot with a wooden spoon. Good defense.

Only 21 days until Christmas, so get your shopping done...
