Grinding Through the Week

It has been a rough time for Josie at work as she is very busy and the work is very physical. She has been struggling with her back pain and it makes it difficult to sleep as well as stand for any length of time. Evidently, the shot she received a couple weeks ago has had little benefit. There are only 3 1/2 days to go before she can rest and take a couple days off during Christmas. Both of us are looking very forward to heading to Laughlin on Sunday afternoon.

I had to visit my Audiologist again yesterday with a problem in the plastic/wire connecting the receiver to the earpiece. The plastic separated and exposed the wire. I had to have another impression taken of the ear and the Audiologist sent it off to have a new wire and earpiece made. In the meantime, she taped the separation in the existing earpiece and I hope it lasts until the new one arrives sometime within the next week.

No more word on the home front. We are still waiting to hear about the plan for the changeover from the tenants to us. It seems that the tenants will spend the holiday - Christmas, at least - in the house. They still must be out by December 31, so things should start happening soon...
