We started the day yesterday with an unscheduled visit to Josie's doctor to get a new schedule for her shots. Her back has not been responding too well to the first shot, and she has had a problem connecting with the staff at the doctor's office to discuss the problem as a result of her working schedule. The best way to connect was to physically go to the office and talk about the problem. She scheduled a consultation with the doctor and we hope to get some results very soon.
The plan was to bake cookies yesterday and to get the final Christmas cards mailed. The cookie project was derailed as a result of problems with ingredients and some cookie press equipment. That project will wait until she has more time. The Christmas mailing is done so we are now ready for the holiday.
The marathon schedule at Josie's work begins today as the holiday nears. This is always a tough time but the light at the end of the tunnel is bright...
