Getting in the Mood

After working for 5 days straight at the flower shop, it takes us a day to get in the mood for doing any real work around the RV. So, we used the day yesterday to go to the fitness center for a workout, go to Sam's Club to get some household items and watch a movie or two. It was a nice, relaxing day. Now we are ready to get to work in the RV.

Since we are not going to Jackson this year, we realize that all of the Virginian Lodge uniforms, including shirts, jackets and vests will not be needed. Those things will get packed and placed in storage - in case we return someday. There are other clothes that we will pack as we don't need a lot of extra things that will just sit in the closet the whole time we are there. Add appliances that we can do without and we have another trip to storage in view. As long as we are realistic about what we need to have, we can keep the load at a reasonable weight for travel. We were definitely overloaded the last few years we traveled and are thankful that we had no serious repercussions from the extra weight. Another advantage to a lighter RV is better gas mileage while traveling. With the lower gas prices, that will be a welcomed benefit for our traveling this year...
