Shopping

The boys had their friends over for the night and as they were busy playing video games, we went to Macy's to take advantage of a Columbus Day sale. There were some good buys, and I had forgotten how many choices there were at "big box" stores that are missing in the Jackson, WY area. Of course, that also means that money is saved by not having that local temptation.

The other main objective for yesterday was to buy a new cell phone to send to Austin. When we visited with him on Saturday, his phone was so battered that he needed a replacement. The phone he wanted - the new iPhone - was not available at the local Verizon store in Kalamazoo, so we went to the local Best Buy store here where Patty bought one and over-nighted it to Austin. That about wrapped up our shopping for the day.

The twins head back to school today and we have our final full day to visit. Our flight tomorrow leaves Chicago at 11:10 AM, so we will leave with Patty - or Mark - in the morning when the boys are taken to school and go directly to O'Hare. The week just zoomed by and it's hard to believe that the end is near...
