Full Circle

Our flight from Chicago to Phoenix was (mostly) smooth, and our plane landed on-time at 12:45 PM local time. We picked up our bag, caught the van to the parking lot, paid our bill and made it home to Lake Pleasant by 2:30. We have gone full circle now - drove from Jackson to Lake Pleasant, visited Patty and her family for a week, and now have returned to spend the rest of the winter here at Lake Pleasant.

One of the main concerns we had while away on our trip was how our plants would survive the hot weather. The inexpensive drip system I set up before we left worked like a charm:

We could see how the watering schedule not only kept them alive, but resulted in new growth.

Following a short time to relax outside and a trip to the grocery store to restock some necessary items, we started to prioritize our schedule for the next several days. Josie will get more details of her working schedule, we will hear from DirecTV - today - about fixing our TV problems and we will, generally, set down a schedule of how we will spend our remaining time here until the middle of May, 2014. There are lots of things we hope to accomplish while here, and there are also some trips we would like to take. We will try to find the right mix of work and fun, so here goes...
