Everything went according to schedule yesterday. Our drive to the parking facility near Sky Harbor Airport went as scheduled and we were through security and at the gate by 6 AM. The flight left on time at 7:37 and we arrived at Chicago O'Hare right on schedule at 1 PM. Miraculously, our bag was in baggage claim, and we met Patty outside shortly after 1 PM.
We stopped at the twins' school on the way home to pick up Jordan and Brandon and were at Patty's by 2:30. The boys have today, tomorrow and Monday off from school, so we plan a lot of activities during the day.
We made a trip to Walmart down the street to pick up some fishing gear for a planned fishing trip today. There is a lake not too far from here where we plan to take a picnic lunch and fish for some catfish, crappies sunfish and maybe a bass or two. I bought a small carton of live worms at Walmart but the word I got this morning was they were possibly frozen overnight in the spare refrigerator that is off the family room. I guess I'll know for sure when we arrive at the lake.
We had a great salmon dinner following Happy Hour which began at 4 PM. Here we are catching up on Naperville happenings during cocktail hour:
Mark had to attend a board meeting for the boys football team so we didn't get a chance to visit much with him last night. He is back to work this morning for the first time after being home the last few days following a bout with the flu.
The weather is perfect with the warm sun shining, so we are off to enjoy a week of fun with our family in Naperville...
