Not Too Surprising Baseball Start

It is kind of ironic that after 6 games for the Rangers and Royals, they are a combined 0-6 for the season. It became very obvious to us during the spring training season that neither team had great pitching. It appears that the observation was right-on.

The Diamondbacks are off to a great start (3-1) but the Mariners are not (1-3) The Mariners opened their season in Houston, so I see them improving once they get home to open their season in front of friendly fans. Of course, the season just started, it is a long season and anything can happen.

We enjoyed the day yesterday with another relaxing afternoon sitting outside under our awning. Even though it was hot (92) in the sun, the cool shade under the awning was delightful. We expect another day today just like yesterday except that clouds are expected to roll in for a possible storm over the weekend.

I forgot to mention that we participated in a Webinar on Wednesday night with Thousand Trails. We listened to their pitch on new programs and new benefits but we remained strong in rejecting any upgrade. Our lifestyle has changed to the point where we cannot take advantage of the new programs, or even take advantage of the existing membership. There is a good chance that we will be selling that membership after 36 years of participation. As a result of having our site being included in our workamping gigs, there is little need - or opportunity - to use their campgrounds. Plus, there is a limit to how long you can stay in any campground which removes it from consideration during times we are spending between workamping jobs. That would be a sad day if we sell the membership as we have many, many great thoughts of experiences we've had over the years at those parks...
