Strange Game

It was one of the strangest games I've seen in Spring Training. The Los Angeles Dodgers beat the Texas Rangers, 10-2, in a game that was not as close as the score. The pitcher for the Dodgers - Clayton Kershaw - pitched over six innings of 2 hit, shutout baseball while the Rangers were ushering different pitchers in and out trying to stop the Dodgers from scoring in every inning. Kershaw was near perfect while the Rangers stunk up the place. With only a week left in Spring Training, I would say the Dodgers are ready to go, and the Rangers need to start over.

It was cool (71) and windy yesterday with rain in the AM. The rain has moved out and it will begin to warm up today. The game yesterday started at 4:05 PM - very rare. We are back to the normal starting time of 1:05 today and with only three games left for us, we are ready to see the games end. This is a tough time for us as we are both tired of standing all day and look forward to some normal activity for the month of April.

We are looking forward to seeing the Final Four basketball tournament come to the stadium in Glendale. It is probably good that our house is being rented as there will definitely be some traffic jams around the stadium during that time. We are sorry that Arizona was eliminated last night by Xavier in a close game, but the tournament will still be exciting to watch...
