Enjoying Off Day

A few of our coworkers at the Spring Training games have RV spaces located within 20 minutes of the stadium at a park we had never seen. We decided to take a drive yesterday to check out the park and to see some of the wildflowers blooming in our area. The drive, from our Pioneer Park, did not disappoint:

The park, located just outside of Surprise, did disappoint. The folks that told us about it stated that monthly spaces were only $207 per month, plus electric. That is about half of what our park charges, and we could see why. It was old, and very run-down with spaces very close to a main highway (Grand Ave) which could be especially noisy. I think we will remain where we are now located. The drive was terrific though.

We have a second day today to continue catching up with phone calls we need to make for appointments. I also spent a good portion of yesterday researching and discussing insurance changes for our vehicles. One thing I discovered was that it is difficult getting insurance quotes where you can compare coverages, line by line. We'll keep trying.

The temperatures appear headed for record high territory this week, so it looks like we will crank up the air conditioners to stay cool...
